My girlfriend of two years moved away last week. Her family uprooted and took off for Melbourne, a long four hours away. Her father is some kind of big shot at a company that sells computer parts and was relocated there. We have decided for now to give the long distance thing a go. We agreed we wouldn’t go more then a month without seeing each other. So next week I’m hiring a car and making the trek to see her. I don’t own my own car because I don’t really have the need for one. Everything I need has been accessible by public transportation, until now that is. I’m not buying a car though just to see her, hiring one is a much cheaper alternative. How cheap is what I’m trying to determine. I’ve been doing a little car rental comparison of a few places and want to check out a few more until I find the best deal.
